This is my first year at Hickman County High School and I am proud to be a Falcon!! I graduated from Murray State University in December 2010 and am currently working on my master’s degree in Moderate to Severe Disabilities!
I have two wonderful daughters, Erika and Brianna. Erika is a freshman at HCHS and Brianna is a fifth grader at HCES. As far as my life away from school, I spend most of my time volunteering in the community and spending time with my kiddos and my family!
For me, teaching is more than just a rewarding profession, it is a way of life. I strongly believe that every child can learn and achieve great things. Day in and day out, I strive to teach and reach every child on a personal level in a manner that best suits their individual learning needs. While classroom instruction is important, it is only a part of the recipe for a successful student. I look forward to working not only with my students, but also with their parents, and the local community with the goal of helping to prepare our youth for the challenges of an ever changing world. I look forward to the year ahead of us and wish each and every one of you success in the days to come.
